Project: Road to Gothia 2026: Inclusion Through Football
Oasis Football Academy will proudly represent Sierra Leone at the Gothia Cup 2026, a prestigious global youth football tournament taking place in Gothenburg, Sweden, from 12–19 July 2026. This opportunity will position our young talents as ambassadors of national pride, contributing to Sierra Leone’s international sporting presence.
Purpose and Strategic Rationale
Participation in the Gothia Cup will provide world-class competitive exposure, broaden global perspectives, and offer a valuable platform for players to showcase their talents internationally. Beyond sport, the programme delivers significant psychosocial benefits. International exposure fosters confidence, resilience, ambition, and a belief in future possibilities. Socially, participants return as positive role models, promoting discipline, purpose, and hope within their schools and communities. Over time, they are expected to grow into leaders, mentors, and ambassadors contributing meaningfully to national development.

Sponsorship Options
General Sponsorship: Financial support towards return flights, accommodation, or the full project cost (USD 72,320).
Individual Sponsorship: Sponsorship of one or more participants at USD 3,144 per participant.
(Oasis Football Academy has already contributed USD 660 per participant, covering kits and equipment, visa applications and documentation, and insurance.)
