Founders’ Statement
Oasis Football Academy is a youth-focused sports and development organisation in Sierra Leone, committed to empowering disadvantaged boys through structured football training, education, and mentorship. We stand as a beacon of hope, discipline, and opportunity—transforming the lives of children and young people in Sierra Leone and beyond through the power of sport, education, and compassionate guidance.
Our work is rooted in the Central and Eastern communities of Freetown, where we provide structured football training, life-skills development, and safe recreational opportunities. We focus primarily on boys aged 12–17 from vulnerable backgrounds, including those affected by poverty, instability, and limited access to education. At Oasis, we provide an environment where dreams are nurtured, lives are reshaped, and a brighter future is built through teamwork, discipline, and purpose.
Every child deserves the opportunity to shine. Through Oasis Football Academy, we make that possible—one child, one goal, and one victory at a time.
In 2026, we have the honour of presenting an Under-16 Boys’ Team to participate in the Gothia Cup in Gothenburg, Sweden—the world’s largest and most internationally diverse youth football tournament. This remarkable platform offers talented but disadvantaged boys a life-changing opportunity to gain international exposure, build confidence, and access opportunities far beyond their everyday reality.
Participation in this global tournament is not simply a sporting event; it is a transformative journey that will equip these boys with life skills, broaden their horizons, and inspire hope for a brighter future.
