Oasis Football Academy has been officially registered to present an Under-16 Boys’ Team at the Gothia Cup 2026 in Gothenburg, Sweden—the world’s most respected and internationally diverse youth football tournament.

In Sierra Leone, many young people face poverty, limited educational opportunities, unemployment, and an increased risk of falling into crime, drug use, and exploitation. Football stands as one of the few constructive outlets providing structure, discipline, and hope.

The Gothia Cup offers these boys a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to travel internationally, compete professionally, expand their worldview, and be recognised for their talent beyond the limitations of poverty and social hardship.

We are therefore seeking sponsorship and financial assistance to ensure their participation in this transformative event.

Supporting this initiative means investing in the lives of talented young people who deserve the chance to dream, grow, and excel. With your support, we can help shape futures, inspire hope, and empower a new generation of leaders.

Benefits of Supporting the Team

Participation in the Gothia Cup will:

• Provide invaluable international exposure and cultural exchange

• Build leadership, teamwork, resilience, and communication skills

• Offer a positive alternative to street life

• Transform the lives of at-risk youth

• Reinforce discipline, confidence, and positive behaviour

• Strengthen family and community pride

• Inspire future youth participation in global activities

• Reduce vulnerability to crime and exploitation

• Open doors to opportunities in education, sport, and personal development

The Gothia Cup 2026 presents an opportunity that can redefine these boys’ confidence, ambition, and future trajectory.
